The Capital District Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program held an "Everybody In - Nobody Out, Jammin' for Single Payer Healthcare" event at WAMC's Linda Norris Auditorium on Friday, June 12th. The event was aimed at bringing young people in to listen to some good music, and hear about the importance of single payer for their lives.
Two bands - Broadcast Live! and Mother Mcrees - performed live, DJ Jardread was on hand to spin tunes, and comedian Gregor Wynnyczuk also performed. A good time was had by all
This event was co-sponsored by: Single Payer New York, Capital District Alliance for Universal Healthcare, Capital District Area Labor Federation, Troy Area Labor Council, and Hunger Action Network of New York State.
