The Republican-controlled House of Representatives has voted again to repeal the Affordable Care Act, commonly called Obamacare. No matter what you think of this bill or the 56 repeal attempts, you might want something better. You may want a system that lowers costs for patients, medical providers and employers; allows you to keep your doctors; maintains or increases quality of care; and provides a simpler plan to understand and navigate.

A bill to do just that was recently submitted in the House. It establishes a plan to offer health insurance with no co-pays, no deductibles, no lifetime limits along with lowering prescription drug costs. This plan builds and improves on the existing Medicare network, which will eliminate out-of-network charges and cover everyone. Research has shown that it can do all this while saving money for 95 percent of American households. This will also save money for providers and hospitals by having all billing come to one entity.

Now, do these characteristics sound like a plan that would benefit you, your family, your medical providers and even your employer? If so, research H.R. 676 or the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act.

Yes this is what we all need desperately a medicare for all. It should supercede the ACA sooner than later. Hopefully all will get on board for this law. End the senseless bickering and half hearted attempts to fix the system. This should fix it for all.
